GLCAC Resource Fair

GLCAC

Asperger Works joined other nonprofits and families at GLCAC’s 3rd Annual Community Resource Fair on August 12 at Campagnone Park in Lawrence. The purpose of the Fair was, according to GLCAC’s site, to connect “Lawrence families and residents to the variety of services available to help them overcome challenges and achieve success.” We were the proverbial new kids on the block. Many people stopped by to have some cookies and to have us check our name off on a sheet that urged them to visit all the vendors in order to qualify for the raffle of school bags and supplies. But quite a few also stopped by to chat and to find out more about our organization. Among those who came were State Senator Barbara L’Italien and State Representative Marcos Devers.

Since this event was held on a Wednesday, only four members of the Board of Directors manned our table: Tom “Woody” Wood, Adam Rajczyk, Lisa Rajczyk, and Eva Rajczyk.

Here are some of the pictures that were taken mostly by Adam Rajczyk.
