Dinners of Hope Booklets

Since 2015, Asperger Works has been conducting yearly fundraising activities that we call DINNER OF HOPE. If you have visited our various dinner pages, you were treated to information, pictures, and videos. But, unless you were among our guests, you had no access to our souvenir program books.

Autistic Pride Day

Autistic Pride Day was first celebrated in 2005 by the organization ASPIES FOR FREEDOM (AFF), so that the people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) could have one day in which they could celebrate their neurodiversity and differences. Thanks to them, it became an event celebrated worldwide. One amazing quality about this event is that it is not run by charities; it is run by individuals with ASD.   MORE DETAILS

Juneteenth

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Deriving its name from combining “June” and “nineteenth,” it is celebrated on the anniversary of General Order No. 3, issued by Major General Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865, proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas.   MORE DETAILS
