International Volunteers at AWorks

A number of months ago, Eva Rajczyk, a member of our Board of Directors, attended a meeting of the Nonprofit Committee of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. At that meeting, she met Irena Anthony, the National Program Manager for the CHI Internship/Trainee Department (Cultural Homestay International). This chance meeting was serendipitous for both CHI and AWorks. Irena was looking for companies for which her international students could volunteer and Eva was always on the lookout for possible volunteers.

As a result, Asperger Works was really fortunate in receiving help from three talented, enthusiastic, international volunteers during the months of July and August in 2017. In the video below, the students talk about their experiences working for Asperger Works.

Please check out our VOLUNTEER BLOG to read about each student’s trip to, and experience in, the United States through his/her own words. You can also read about our first international student who worked with Asperger Works in 2016.
